The role of the European Committee of the Regions (CoR) in the Conference on the future of Europe
The Conference on the Future of Europe aims to bringing Europe closer to the people. This is also the first political priority of the CoR. Thus, he plays an active role in the Conference through its participation in the Conference Plenary. During the last plenary session held on 23rd October, discussions took place on sport and on its role on society: it encourages mutual understanding and a more inclusive democratic life through youth participation. The final outcome of the Conference will be presented in a report to the Joint Presidency.
