PLAY project

Encouraging social inclusion for refugees and asylum seekers through sport: that is the challenge for a programme supported by PLAY International and its Playlab, jointly funded by the European Commission and the SUEZ Foundation.

The problems of society can only be addressed in the long term by joint action. This is the case for social inclusion of refugees and asylum seekers through sport. In this context, PLAY International, an NGO for education through sport, is setting up a European programme encouraging the social inclusion of refugees through sport, and the pilot project is in the Ile-de-France. One of the objectives is to create and manage an ecosystem of stakeholders in order to facilitate meetings, exchanges of experiences and good practice, and thus to create shared, adapted solutions.
