Sport’Up

Sport’Up strengthens the skills of local government staff in sports policy management and social inclusion. The project develops innovative training pathways with European-recognised micro-credentials, promotes transnational cooperation and supports the use of sport as a driver of sustainable territorial and social development.

SPORT’UP, what are we talking about?

Sport’Up is an Erasmus+ project aimed at strengthening the capacities of local authority staff involved in sports policy development and implementation. In response to growing challenges related to inclusion, social innovation and territorial development, the project identifies training needs and creates tailored learning pathways.

The project is structured around four pillars: needs analysis, development of innovative training programmes with micro-credentials, policy advocacy and recommendations, and a European communication and dissemination strategy. A pilot phase will test the training with at least 100 local government professionals before integration into existing lifelong learning systems.

Sport’Up also promotes the exchange of good practices and stronger cooperation among European organisations active in sport and local governance.
