Internship offer – Executive Assistant

Our organisation

Sport et Citoyenneté is a think tank whose social purpose is to strengthen the place of sport in society. Since its creation in 2007, Sport et Citoyenneté has been studying the societal impact of sport and participating in public debate at national and European level through five major actions:

  • Bringing together networks (scientific, thematic) to generate new ideas.
  • Producing reference content: articles, journals, studies, analyses.
  • Organising high-profile events: conferences, round tables, collaborative workshops.
  • Leading impactful projects: reports, social impact studies, European initiatives.
  • Advocating for better integration of societal issues among public and private decision-makers.

Your main tasks

Working closely with the association’s managing director, you will assist them on a daily basis with:

  • Attend meetings and write reports.
  • Manage travel and appointment planning.
  • Contacting and soliciting partners to support the development actions that will be undertaken. 
  • Contribute to the organisation of events such as conferences, round tables and workshops.
  • Assist the director with accounting follow-up operations.
  • Maintain good relations between management bodies and teams (office, board of directors and employees).

Required profile

Your higher education in administrative management (two years of post-secondary education or more) has enabled you to develop the organisational and technical skills necessary to support a management position. In doing so, you demonstrate excellent writing skills, listening and synthesis abilities that enable you to be responsive and fulfil the tasks assigned to you.

Skills

  • Ability to take notes and summarise.
  • Good written and oral communication skills in French.
  • Proficiency in English (level B2).
  • Proficiency in Spanish (level B2).
  • Proficiency in office software.
  • Proficiency in basic accounting.

Interpersonal skills

  • Interpersonal skills (politeness, kindness).
  • Initiative and autonomy
  • Interest in sports
  • Determination.

Internship details

  • Duration: 2 months
  • Start date: as soon as possible
  • Remuneration: in accordance with statutory allowances
  • Working hours: 35 flexible hours from Monday to Friday (full-time) except in exceptional circumstances.
  • Teleworking 1 day/week.
  • Location: City of Valencia, Spain
