Final Conference of the PLAYER Project

On Thursday 12th of November, join the PLAYER consortium members and their guests at tbe FFF headquarters in Paris to discuss the role of sports and sporting and youth organisations in including displaced persons (from Ukraine and beyond) in their host societies. A focus will be made on the importance of the commitment of young people on the topic and how public authorities and associations can support this commitment!

PLAYER is an Erasmus + Youth funded project coordinated by Sport and Citizenship, with partners Kabubu (France), the Riga Football Federation (Latvia), and the Foundation for Freedom (Poland). Its goal is to promote positive attitudes among young people in Poland and Latvia to including displaced people from Ukraine and beyond. Throughout the project, we have thus developed different tools to support sport and youth organisations educators in addressing topics of displacement, inclusion and EU citizenship with children. This included the adaptation of Kabubu’s Migration Fresk, an awareness-raising workshop, to Polish and Latvian lived realities. Find out more during the conference! We will also open the discussion to other public, sports and youth representatives.
