SSD project
The Sport for Sustainable Development project led by ENGSO Youth aims to involve youth leaders, trainers, coaches and NGO staff from three continents (Europe, Asia and Africa) in a number of interrelated activities in order to develop their knowledge on sport’s contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals.
The Erasmus+ funded initiative builds on an 18 months long cross-sector cooperation allowing involved organizations to exchange experiences and methodology in the field of sport-based and youth-led sustainable development, thus also strengthening their capacities for increased levels of action. At last, a platform for sharing and transfer of knowledge will be create, as well as an (online) training manual for delivering the SDG workshop. Partner organizations involve the Educational Foundation of the Kokushikan University (Japan), the Senegal National Olympic and Sports Committee, the University of Physical Education (Hungary) and Sport and Citizenship.
